Sunday mornings are where most people test the waters with a new church. The first time you visit, we recognize that some of you may prefer to slip in a back pew and try to observe us unnoticed. We will do our best to respect that while also hopefully making you feel welcomed.
Here are the basics you likely came looking for:
REGULAR SUNDAY SCHEDULE
9:30 AM – Small Groups for Children and Adults
10:30 AM – Fellowship Coffee Time (Fellowship Hall)
11:00 AM – Worship (Sanctuary)
We are a United Methodist Church, distinctly Wesleyan in our worship and practice of Christian disciplines. We celebrate the sacrament of Holy Communion on the first Sunday of every month.
PARKING DIRECTIONS AND ENTRY
First time visitors are encouraged to park in the upper lot closest to Ponce de Leon. The main points of entry into the sanctuary are either through the front doors on Ponce or the red west-facing door just past the Memorial Garden gate you will see walking from the parking lot. There will be someone at the door or right inside waiting to greet you and answer any questions.
DRESS CODE
There really isn't one. Wear whatever you want. You will see a lot of Sunday-best attire but it is not a requirement. One of our most beloved ushers had blue hair the first time he attended.
