Atlanta Urban Ministry serves poor and homeless individuals through four main ministry programs:
o Women’s Community Kitchen: This program serves lunch to homeless women and children each weekday.
o Children’s Ministry: This program provides an after-school program, tutoring and enrichment opportunities for homeless children.
o Family Housing Ministry: This ministry bridges the gap between homelessness and independence for families getting back on their feet, providing them shelter while they save and work on goals for their own home.
o Atlanta Emergency Aid Ministry: Provides help with food, rent, utilities, etc. for families in an emergency situation; families are referred from other agencies after verification of their situations.
